I truly believe we heal when we have a strong connection to ourselves, the people we care about, and our environment. I aim to create a safe and understanding relationship with those I am counselling. I encourage you to show up as your authentic self and I will do the same. All of your emotions, thoughts, and experiences are welcome. Through our work together my goal is for you to feel seen, proud of you who you are, appreciated, and hopeful about the future. I want to help you know and trust yourself through exploration of your feelings, past experiences, triggers, values, and goals.

As someone who is highly sensitive and has lived with complex trauma, ADHD, and chronic illness, I know that navigating the world with these complexities can be really tricky but also beautiful. When I was younger, I received support from people who understood and embraced these intricacies. Their support made a huge impact on how I viewed myself and the world. Because of this, I decided I wanted to extend care and support to those who may feel misunderstood, excluded, lost, or alone. I pursued an undergraduate degree in psychology and Indigenous studies, a certificate in conflict resolution, and a master’s degree in counselling psychology. My past work experience includes supporting those with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, mental illness, addictions, and trauma.

I am originally from Vancouver Island, and as you might expect I am passionate about nature, animals, community, and spirituality. I am down-to-earth, empathetic, enthusiastic, and (hopefully) funny. My hobbies include training my puppy, tending to my indoor jungle, writing, reading, making art, photography, hanging out outside, spending time with friends, changing my hairstyles (life is too short to have boring hair, I always say) and watching silly or spooky shows.
I am neurodivergent affirming, and accepting of all genders, races, and sexualities. I am most passionate about working with young adults and adults. I am available for both in-person and virtual sessions.
