Originally from Toronto, I moved to the Okanagan to complete my Master of Social Work (MSW) and quickly fell in love with the community and beautiful outdoors. I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW), providing trauma-informed counselling for youth (12+), adults, couples, and seniors, in Kelowna and across British Columbia.
With experience working in an acute care trauma unit, I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, relationship challenges, major life transitions, chronic illness, and everyday life stressors. I understand how overwhelming life can feel, and I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported without judgement. I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where clients can feel safe, explore their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward change at their own pace.
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I tailor therapy to each individual using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I incorporate a holistic perspective, recognizing the strong connection between the mind, body, and spirit, integrating Mindfulness and nature-based practices into therapy, where appropriate, to support overall well-being.
Together, we can work through life’s most difficult moments, with the goal of expanding coping skills, increasing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, building confidence, and moving toward a more fulfilling and empowered life. Outside of my work I am an outdoors enthusiast with a passion for nature, travel, and adventure. I enjoy hiking, skiing, camping, paddle boarding, dance, yoga and Pilates. My connection to nature influences the balanced and holistic perspective I bring into my practice.
