My goal is to support you through life challenges towards your path to healing and growth. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where we can explore these hardships together, while fostering a warm and genuine connection. I am passionate about helping you find your strength and resilience.
My interest in mental health first peaked when I was working in a pharmacy at the age of 15, where I was able to witness the effects of mental illness. It fostered my passion for helping individuals, specifically with addiction. I then decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in Psychology, following my Masters in Counselling Psychology. With over a decade of experience working with mental health, I have been able to integrate the knowledge and insights into have gained into every client interaction.
I specialize in grief and loss, and had the privilege of facilitating grief support groups with a deep commitment to supporting others through their healing. I also have experience working in shelters that support women who are experiencing mental health concerns, homelessness, and those who are navigating the criminal justice system. That role has further taught me the value of having a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive space.
My passion lies through a trauma-informed approach, while blending elements of cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion focused, IFS, mindfulness, and solution focused therapy. We will work collaboratively to find an approach that best suits your needs.
